Motorcycle Crash Causes Traffic Backup On I-35 In Edmond

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers and Edmond police responded to a motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 in Edmond Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, the motorcycle crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-35, just north of Memorial Road in Edmond.

The motorcyclist did not sustain serious injuries, but was transported by EMSA to the hospital to be checked out.

The motorcycle crash caused a major traffic backup in the area. As of 7 p.m. all lanes of I-35 are back open.
