Multiple police agencies are investigating the murder of a man who may be the victim of a crime spree that stretches across several Oklahoma cities, and may be connected to drugs and gangs.

Two people stumbled onto the victim's body October 24 in rural Lincoln County. Lincoln County Sheriff Charlie Dougherty says the man's hands and feet had been bound together and a pillow case placed over his head, before he was shot twice in the back of the head.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation released photos of three tattoos on the unidentified victim's body. Agents hope someone will recognize the body art and call authorities. The tattoo on the victim's right arm has three initials. The tattoo on the victim's left arm is the symbol of a cross. There's also a tattoo of an 8-ball with a skull on the victim's calf.

Sheriff Dougherty says the murder is probably gang and drug related. The sheriff says after talking to several witnesses in Lincoln County, Oklahoma City, and Edmond, investigators believe the same suspects responsible for the murder, are also connected to a recent home invasion, an abduction, and a kidnapping.

"It appears a bunch of these folks started getting high about 5 a.m. Monday morning, and they haven't been to bed since," Dougherty said.
