Thunder GM Sam Presti hosted a press conference Sunday to address the organization's trade of James Harden to the Houston Rockets.
The Thunder acquired Kevin Martin, Jeremy Lamb, two first-round draft picks and one second-round draft pick in the deal.
OKC also dealt Lazar Hayward, Cole Aldrich and Daequan Cook to Houston.
Presti opened by thanking the departing players for their service both on and off the court and welcoming the new players as members of the Thunder family.
Presti also gave some details about the negotiation process. He said the final proposal to Harden was made Friday morning along with the message that it would be the organization's final offer. When Harden's camp rejected it, Presti said it became time to explore other opportunities.
Presti praised the newly-acquired Kevin Martin as a versatile and efficient scorer and touted Lamb as an exciting part of the Thunder's present and future.
