The McClain County Sheriff's Office is using surveillance video to help catch a man suspected of burglarizing businesses in Goldsby and Dibble.

Investigators say surveillance cameras captured the suspect in the act; now they are hoping someone will recognize the individual.

Detective Dana Guthrie says the suspect attempted to burglarize Hurley's Corner Convenient Store on October 17. When the suspect was unsuccessful, he bashed in a window at Bottle Barn Liquor Store in Goldsby and took several items.

Investigators say cameras caught the suspect fleeing the scene in a white 1999 Lincoln Town Car, which had been reported stolen from Riverwind Casino a couple weeks before the burglaries.

McClain County deputies recovered the getaway car after a short pursuit one week later. Detective Guthrie explains the suspect led deputies on the pursuit, and then abandoned the car in a field near S.E. 19th Street and Broadway in Moore.

If you have any information about these crimes or recognize the suspect, call the McClain County Sheriff's Office at 527-2141
