Neighbors and drivers may notice a lot of commotion and activity near Tinker Air Force Base Thursday, but there's nothing to worry about.

Oklahoma City and Tinker emergency responders are participating in a major accident response exercise. It begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Oklahoma City Police Department Gun Range parking lot. That's located at the end of Air Depot Boulevard, just south of Interstate 240.

The exercise will include emergency workers and vehicles responding to a scenario that includes simulated injuries. According to Paul Logan, Tinker's Senior Exercise Evaluator, the goal is to evaluate the coordination between multiple agencies on and off base as they respond to emergencies.
