Oklahoma City firefighters are partnering with a local organization to help keep kids warm this winter.
It's all for "Operation Warm Coats for Kids." Firefighters were on hand delivering coats to students at Westwood Elementary.
Combined donations from Oklahoma City firefighters and "Operation Warm" will allow every kid at this school to receive a new coat.
Since 1998, Operation Warm has been able to provide coats to more than a million children.
"It's wonderful to see a smile on a child's face when you provide them with a brand new coat. The kids get excited, their eyes light up, they're very happy about it. That kind of joy to be able to provide at this time of year to some really needy children, this makes it all worthwhile," Phil Sipe said.
So far, there have been enough donations to help out three other elementary schools.
