The Enid Police Department is using surveillance video to help catch a man suspected of stealing a purse from a hospital.

A worker at Bass Hospital left her purse in the employee locker room about 4:30 a.m. on October 26. When she returned to collect her belongings 45 minutes later, the purse was gone.

Enid Police watched video surveillance from the hospital and identified a man who may have stolen the purse. He's described as a white male wearing a black coat, camouflage hat, black and white tennis shoes, blue jeans, and a tan sweater with dark-colored stripes.

Police say the suspect had facial hair; perhaps a beard, or long sideburns and a goatee.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Enid Crime Stoppers at (580) 233-6233. You can also text a tip to 274637. Be sure to type "Enid" in the subject field.
