Crews Douse Fire At Apartment Complex In NW OKC

Crews responded to an apartment fire in the 7700 block of northwest 10st St., Saturday night.

Firefighters were called to the Mulberry Park apartment complex, located at 7626 NW 10^th St., just before 7 p.m.

Early reports indicate that the fire was contained to the balcony of one unit. Firefighters extinguished it quickly.

No one was injured during this fire. Crews have not yet determined the cause, but believe it may have been caused by a cigarette.

The apartment unit where the fire originated suffered some damage. Other adjacent units sustained smoke and water damage while crews worked to put out the blaze.
