The weather played a part in a fire Monday afternoon in northwest Oklahoma City.
The fire started around 2:30 p.m. at a home off N.W. 43rd and Drexel. When fire crews arrived they found heavy smoke coming from the house.
The cool conditions caused the smoke to lay low, causing problems when fighting the fire. Fire officials say the fire appears to have started in the garage.
The homeowner was using a generator to power the house. No word on if that played a role in causing the fire. Everyone got out of the house and no injuries are reported.
