You might have heard that the U.S. had the warmest year on record. This is true. Oklahoma is also included in having the warmest year on record.

You might have heard that the U.S. had the warmest year on record. This is true. Oklahoma is also included in having the warmest year on record. Much of the central and Midwest states set this record!

I found a map of below and above average global temperatures for the entire year of 2012. Check out how much warmer the U.S. was compared to the rest of the world.

This map shows most of the world was colder than normal, including Europe, central Russia to China, Persia, India, and much of the southern hemisphere continental areas. Alaska was much below normal in 2012! As far as 'global warming' is concerned, the temperature average globally has been generally steady since 1998. There have been NO exceptional trends of year to year warming since then.
