Scary moments unfolded at a metro bank Thursday morning as two men walked in with guns in hand, demanding money.
This marks the second time it's happened at the bank in less than a week. The armed robberies happened at the Bank of Oklahoma branch on SE 44th and Sunnylane. The latest was Thursday morning, not long after the bank opened for the day.
Not only has this bank been robbed twice in a matter of days, the FBI is investigating whether the same two men could be behind both. City Police were on the ground and above the scene shortly after robbers hit the Bank of Oklahoma on SE 44th.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. when investigators say two robbers walked right through the front doors with guns drawn. Surveillance pictures show two black men in hooded sweatshirts pointing their guns at the tellers.
The employees complied with their demands, and the robbers got away with plastic bags full of cash.
Alice Scott arrived shortly after the robbery happened to make a deposit.
"It really does concern me because it could've been me," Scott says. "Because I got my deposit ready yesterday, and I'm surprised I didn't come up earlier to make it."
The same bank was robbed last Friday morning, around the same time. The FBI says the way the suspects look and how the robberies happened are very similar, and the same two men in the pictures could be behind last week's armed robbery.
Scott runs a nearby apartment complex, and she's a frequent customer, but the recent events here are a growing concern.
"At the first of the month, the first two weeks, I'm here every day, and I would want to be a part of that," Scott said.
The FBI says the robbers took off in a stolen white 4-door Honda. Investigators found it empty not far from the bank after the robbery.

Executive Vice President, Consumer Banking for BOK Financial, Pat Piper, released the following statement to News 9 regarding the recent rash of robberies:
We train diligently for these situations, but nothing prepares us for the stark images released today. We are very protective of our employees, and with them, the safety of our clients is the number one priority every hour of every day.
In response to today's events, full-time security now safeguards this location. We are increasing our significant investment in surveillance equipment to both deter future crimes, and ensure law enforcement has every possible image before and after a criminal enters our premises.
The pictures of our team members resonate with every Oklahoman. We hope our citizens will take note of the descriptions and provide leads to the police to assist in capturing these criminals.
