A water main break Tuesday morning may cause some problems for people living on the south side of Oklahoma City.
The main broke near S.W. 38th Street and Villa Place around 2:45 a.m. as firefighters were putting out a home fire in the area. The break could cause low water pressure for residents in the neighborhood.
A city employee told News 9 crews will have to shut off the line to fix it, but they plan to wait until later in the morning so residents have a chance to shower and eat breakfast.
The line broke as firefighters were putting out a house fire in the neighborhood. The fire didn't do a lot of damage to the home and no one was hurt.
Firefighters believe the fire was an accident, but they say the men who live in the house left the scene before fire crews even arrived. Crews are not sure why the men left. The fire is under investigation.
