Two men waving guns rushed into a Warr Acres bank Wednesday morning, and made off with a backpack full of cash.
The FBI says the men entered the Bank of America at N.W. 34th Street and MacArthur at approximately 10:30 a.m. Their weapons were already drawn.
One of the men approached a teller, demanding the worker fill a blue backpack with money. The second robber stood in the lobby, yelling out commands and pointing a gun at other bank employees and customers.
Tellers complied with the robbers' demands and filled the backpack with cash. Both gunmen then ran out of the bank and were last seen running toward the Summer Place apartment complex, which is next door to the bank.
No one was hurt during the robbery.
The FBI has released surveillance camera photos taken during the robbery. Both subjects are black males. One man is believed to be in his early 20s, stands 6 feet 2 inches tall, and has a slim build. He was wearing a black or dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
The second robber is approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt.
Both the FBI and the Warr Acres Police Department are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at (405) 290-7770. You may remain anonymous.
