After a preliminary hearing filled with drama, a judge has determined there's enough evidence for a suspect accused of gunning down a man in a northwest Oklahoma City parking lot to stand trial for first-degree murder.

Prosecutors say David Bloebaum shot and killed Jasen Yousif on September 28, 2012, after the two got into an argument in the parking lot of Super Target near Penn and Memorial.  Bloebaum's preliminary hearing began Wednesday morning in an Oklahoma County courtroom, and ended a few hours later with an emotional outburst from the victim's mother.

When the hearing ended, as Bloebaum was led from the courtroom, Yousif's mother yelled at him, "Murderer, murderer! That is what he is. A murderer! I hope you fry! I hope you fry in hell!"

During the hearing, witness Sherise Brannon testified she was at Super Target the day of the shooting to buy a wedding present. She said as she was leaving the store, she heard three gun shots. She said she saw a young man turn and fall to the ground. She also saw a knife fall from his hand.

Brannon said Bloebaum then told her, "Don't go over there. I already shot him."

During this testimony, Yousif's aunt became upset and yelled, "He shot him." She then began crying. The district attorney asked her to leave the courtroom.

Witness James Spitz -- who works as a manager at Target -- testified he was leaving work and getting in his car when he noticed two trucks drive up and the two drivers start arguing. He then heard gunshots, and saw one of the drivers collapse and not move. Spitz then called 911.

Another witness, Lezlie Stacey, testified she was speaking on her phone when she heard a gunshot. She said she saw an older man – a man she identified as Bloebaum -- point a gun at a younger man. She said she then saw the young man fall to the ground, and saw something fall from his hand. It turns out that something was a knife. Stacey said Bloebaum put the gun in his pants and made a phone call.

Bloebaum is charged with one count of first-degree murder, and two counts of unlawfully carrying a firearm.
