His job was to help Oklahoma County's Drug Court keep track of convicted drug and alcohol offenders, but now a former lab employee is accused of abusing that trust.
John Barfield, 24, was arrested Jan. 29. Prosecutors say he offered to keep urine sample records clean for a drug court client, as long as that client paid him hundreds of dollars.
Police arrested Barfield when he accepted a $300 bribe from a drug court client who was wearing a wire.
Oklahoma County District Attorney David Prater says he expects Barfield to be formally charged very soon.
