Two Teens Critically Injured In 'Car Surfing' Stunt In Edmond

According to police, two 15-year-old boys were 'car-surfing' when they were thrown from the vehicle.

Two teenagers are injured following an accident in Edmond Friday night.

It happened at 2004 Running Branch Road. According to police, two 15-year-old boys were 'car surfing' when they were thrown from a white SUV. Car surfing is a thrill-seeking activity in which people ride on the exterior of a vehicle.

The teens were transported to OU Medical Center. Both are listed in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported. Police said the driver of the SUV was a 15-year-old unlicensed driver.
