Woman Struck By Car At Midwest City Intersection

A woman was injured Thursday morning when a driver struck her at a Midwest City intersection.

The woman was struck at Air Depot and Reno just before 6:30 a.m. Police say the car was heading westbound on Reno when it struck the pedestrian. The woman was rushed to the hospital, but is expected to fully recover.

When police arrived, they found the driver who was involved in the crash. He had heavy damage to the front of his car. Police interviewed him and determined the situation was just an unfortunate accident. The driver was not cited.

The accident was cleared a couple of hours later, and all lanes reopened.
