Emergency crews responded to three separate accidents on Interstate 240 in Oklahoma City. One person was critically injured, and seven others suffered non-critical injuries.
The accidents happened in the area of I-240 and Shields. Crews responded to the first accident, a two-vehicle collision, in that area. No one was injured.
Authorities responded to a four-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 240 at Shields just before 4 p.m. Seven people suffered non-critical injuries, and have been transported to the hospital.
As crews respond to the first two accidents, another man crashed his motorcycle into the back of a car in the westbound lanes of I-240, directly across from the four-vehicle collision. That motorcyclist is critically injured.
The westbound and eastbound lanes of I-240 were shut down as crews investigated the crashes.
Authorities have not identified the victims at this time.
