Police have arrested a suspect who led officers on a high-speed pursuit in northwest Oklahoma City, and then ditched his vehicle and ran into a field Monday afternoon.
According to Oklahoma City police, at about 4 p.m., the suspect vehicle, described as a gray Ford extended cab pickup truck, was going southbound on Council at a high rate of speed.
The suspect then ditched the vehicle and ran into a field on the west side of a large pond, near Council and Memorial.
Officers were able to take the suspect into custody following a manhunt.
Police say the vehicle was possibly stolen from the area of 146th and Rockwell earlier in the day.
