An Oklahoma County Jail inmate faces more felony charges, after investigators say he made death threats towards a metro woman by using a cellphone in jail.
Cleveland Calderon, 23, has been in jail most of the past two years for several felony charges.
A woman says Calderon has been calling and texting her death threats in recent weeks. She says she fears for her family's safety.
Sheriff's Deputies put Calderon in solitary confinement Thursday afternoon, and found the cellphone he's been using.
Sheriff's Spokesman Mark Myers says if investigators find out Calderon got the cellphone from a jail staff member, Sheriff John Whetsel will come down hard.
"If you are found to bring contraband into this facility, he will fire you, and he will lock you up in the jail," he said.
This is the fourth time Calderon has been busted for having a cellphone in jail in the past 18 months.
