Armed suspects robbed a Guthrie business overnight, pistol whipping an employee and locking other employees in the freezer before running off.

Police are looking for the armed men who walked inside the Pizza Hut well after the store was closed.

Police say the robbers pistol whipped one employee, demanded money, and locked three employees in the freezer.

But the robbers didn't see one employee. She got away and made a phone call that probably saved her colleagues' lives.

An employee makes a frantic call to 911.

"They said they were going to blow everybody's head off," she said. "I snuck outside, but they put everybody else in the freezer."

Around 11 p.m. Monday, police say two armed men stormed into the Pizza Hut on I-35 and Highway 33 in Guthrie.

We're told they got in through the back door. It was left unlocked after the restaurant was closed.

"[They] struck one of the employees in the face with a pistol, put the gun in the face of the manager and demanded money. They gave them all they had out of the drawers," Guthrie Police Lt. Mark Bruning said.

Police say one of the robbers even took a bullet out of the gun to show it was loaded. Then we're told the robbers took the employees' cell phones and locked them inside the freezer.

The employee who made this call was able to make her way outside to hide in the grass and call police.

"I looked up and seen a masked man, and I crawled under the table," the employee said. "When he was putting them in the freezer, I grabbed by phone off the counter and ran and snuck out the door."

Officers got there quickly and everyone was okay, but police say that back door never should've been unlocked.

The employee told the 911 dispatcher, "Let them know that the back door is usually unlocked. I don't think those guys know how to lock it."

Police found the employees' phones outside. They're still reviewing the surveillance video of the robbery, and they want to talk to two men who were at the Pizza Hut Sunday night.

(Please post surveillance photos that I'm forwarding from Guthrie PD. These are surveillance photos of two men seen Sunday night who police would like to talk to.)
