Police are searching for a woman in connection to a robbery. The money was stolen from a family of a girl battling a serious disease. The girl is currently being treated at OU Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Deborah Silver, 16, has been in and out of hospitals her entire life. Lately, her mom says she has not been doing well.

Deborah suffers pain in her intestines from Apple Peel Syndrome. Many people born with the illness don't make it past their teens. On Sunday, Deborah was in surgery. The next day, family members say someone stole $900 they planned on using to pay bills.

"In the middle of her shift at work, someone went in and robbed her … took everything," Deborah's mom Lynda Silver said.

The family is from Tulsa. Deborah's sister, Julianna, was back home with the money to pay the family's bills. That's when police say the crime took place at the Tulsa Hills shopping area. Julianna says she noticed cash, credit cards and electronics were gone from her work locker.

"My locker was wide open," said Julianna. "My purse wasn't in there. All of the electronics and my wallet [were] … gone."

Police say the suspect, who is believed to have been a customer, was captured on surveillance video using one of the stolen cards at a nearby store.

"I remembered the seeing [the suspect]," Julianna said. "She didn't stand out in the store at all."

The family says it hopes someone will recognize the woman accused in the robbery. In the meantime, the Silvers are leaning on friends for support.

"Just return the money so I can pay my bills because, otherwise, we could end up with no home to go to," said Lynda.

The Silvers do not know how much longer they will need to stay in Oklahoma City.

In the meantime, the public can donate to the Deborah Silver fund at any City National Bank.
