Police arrest the second suspect in a cemetery mugging that occurred back in August.
Timothy Strunk, 37, was taken into custody and booked at 1:24 Wednesday morning. Police say Strunk and 39-year-old Shane Lunsford robbed Tona Herndon at the Bethany Cemetery last month.
Herndon said Lunsford ripped her purse off her shoulder while she was visiting her husband's grave site. He was later caught allegedly using Herndon's credit cards at a local store. Lunsford was arrested on Friday, September 6.
Following Lunsford's arrest, his teenage son, Christian, reached out to the victim to return $250 in cash his father had just given him for a band trip. Herndon accepted the cash, but then gave it back to him to use on his trip.
Both Lunsford and Stunk remain in the Oklahoma County jail on robbery charges.
