A 16-year-old boy is arrested for the murder of another teenager. Moore Police say the victim was shot to death around midnight Sunday after a house party near Kelley Drive and Broadway.

Police haven't released the victim's name, but he's been identified to News 9 by his friends as 17-year-old Alex Matlock. His friends say he was shot after a fight broke out in the street following the house party.

Friends Skyler McCallie and Kaylee Pesti can't hold back their tears knowing their friend is gone.

"He was one of the coolest realest people I've ever known, ever," McCallie said.

The Westmoore High School sophomores say Matlock was laid back and always made people laugh.

"He was pretty sweet and he cares about his friends and his family and everything like that," said Kaylee Pesti, who knew Matlock for two years. "His family always came first to him."

The girls don't much about how Matlock died, but say a big fight took place early Sunday morning on Kelley Drive.

"I heard that it was a party, and then 2 boys were supposed to fight and then they went outside to fight and then Alex was outside there, too," McCallie said.

Gage K. hosted the gathering at his house on Kelley Drive. He says a small party quickly blew up; close to 100 young people he didn't know showed up around midnight.

"As soon as I get everyone out of my house finally, I'm about to shut the door, and then I hear a shot going off, and then people are running," Gage said.

Gage says there weren't any fights inside his house, and he didn't know Matlock or the shooter; but he remembers Matlock helping him get people out of his house and, once the house was empty, gunfire broke out.

"It's crazy to think you know, I mean, I never thought that anything like that would happen on this street," Gage said.

Matlock's friends are stunned they'll never see him again.

"I miss him a lot, and if I could've been there that night, then I would've helped," McCallie said.

Moore Police arrested a 16-year-old suspect Brajuan Napoleon at his Del City home. He is being held at the Cleveland County jail and could face murder charges Monday morning.
