Oklahoma City police arrested a woman who is accused of attacking a neighbor with a rake, and punching and biting her Saturday afternoon.
According to the police report, officers responded to the assault just after 5 p.m. in the 800 block of S.E. 18th Street.
The victim told police her dog had run away from her yard and run into a neighbor's yard. But when she went to go get her dog, the suspect, later identified as 53-year-old Juanita Victoria Brown, ran out of that home and started to attack her with a rake.
The victim said she pushed the rake to the side, that's when Brown punched her in the face and bit her.
When an officer attempted to arrest Brown, a man inside her house, later identified as 37-year-old Damon Montrell Brown, grabbed her arm and began violently pulling her back into the house.
Damon Brown was then taken into custody for resisting arrest. There was also a warrant out for his arrest for public drunkenness.
Juanita Brown was arrested on one count of assault and battery. Both suspects were taken to the Oklahoma County Jail.
