Six month after the May 20 tornado, families in Moore are still living through a great deal of pain.

Mike Quick tells News 9 he tries to remain busy running errands and looking after his two sons so he doesn't think about his wife, who was killed.

"There ain't a day that goes by that I don't think of her," says Quick about his wife Shannon.

Mike's 8-year-old son Jackson was critically injured on May 20. He almost lost a leg and his pelvis was crushed.

"He's the toughest little guy I've ever known," says Quick, whose son was released from the hospital in September and is back at school.

Support for the Quicks isn't far away. One of Mike's great friends, who lived next door in the old neighborhood, will live across the street in their new neighborhood. The Quicks move into their new home in January.

"We're making it, because that's what she would want us to do."
