A man accused of possessing and sharing hundreds of images of child porn is arrested by Edmond Police.

An Edmond officer who works with the Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children task force found the child porn on a file sharing network on the internet. The officer was then able to track down the IP address of the person downloading the files.

Police arrested 36-year-old Jessie Cleve Burns at a home on SW 40th St. A look at his Facebook page revealed a disturbing photo of young girls in a compromising position. But police say what they found on his computer was much, much worse.

Court papers reveal more than a thousand images were found on Burns computer devices, depicting young girls between the ages of 8 and 12 years old, posing in various positions and stages of undress. They state at least 385 of them would be categorized as child porn.

Neighbors were shocked to see police swarming the block.

"Maybe like 12 police cars? It was a lot," said Adriana Trejo, who lives next door.

Trejo is a young mother of four, and was stunned to hear it was a child porn bust and not a drug bust happening next door.

"It's really bad. It just like it disgusts me," said Trejo. "How could people do that?"

"Yeah they threw me down on the ground and handcuffed me," said Jack Johnson, who says he's Jessie Burns' uncle.

Johnson claims he had no idea what his nephew was into, and said he kept to himself.

"I hope he gets help," said Johnson.

Court papers reveal during the raid, Burns admitted he had a problem with child pornography, and admitted he has been downloading child porn files over the internet for many years.

The court documents state Burns told police that his wife had found child porn on his computer back in 2005 or 2006 – and that he did seek counseling services for his problem, but could not find a counselor that could help him.

Burns is currently being held in the Oklahoma County jail on a $32,000 bond. Edmond Police tell News 9 this investigation is ongoing, and they are trying to determine if any local children are on any of the child porn images they seized.
