A thief hits three convenience stores in a three day heist stealing thousands of dollars' worth of cigarettes, and E-cigs.
Moore police hope clues from surveillance cameras will help capture the crook. K2 Mart convenience store on Main and Eastern was the last store the thief hit.
"They're trying to steal quick money where they can get their needs done," said K2 Mart owner, Maqsood Chaudhry.
Chaudhry shows News 9 surveillance video of a brazen thief breaking into his convenience store early Wednesday morning. The suspect breaks in then quickly uses a trash can to dump all the boxes of cigarettes inside.
He's out in less than a minute.
"They stole the premium cigarettes. Marlboro, Newports, which is you know, highly in demand," said Chaudhry.
It was around 5:30 Wednesday morning when Chaudhry got a call from his alarm company. He says every year around the holiday season he's a target.
"They threw a cement brick through the front door there, so glass was everywhere across the entire floor," said James Snyder.
Snyder helped his brother clean up the mess at another convenience store at Main and Broadway, just down the street from Chaudhry's.
Police believe the mess is the work of the same guy.
"Went straight in, went for the cigarette display. Didn't even look at the cash register or anything else in the entire store," said James Snyder.
"Over $1,000 worth of product," said TK Mart owner, Brian Snyder. "It's gonna hit us hard."
It didn't end there. The thief also hit a Conoco on N.W. 27th Street and Janeway. Surveillance video captured the suspects' SUV.
"Someone knows who this is, and we could us their help," said Sgt. Jeremy Lewis, Moore PD.
