A man dressed as a nun robbed a Yukon bank Tuesday morning.
It happened at approximately 10:55 a.m. the Yukon National Bank, located at 235 S. Yukon Parkway in Yukon.
According to the FBI, the man entered the bank wearing a mask and what appeared to be a nun's habit. The suspect pointed a black semi-automatic weapon and carried a gray duffle bag as he approached the teller counter. Investigators say he then pointed the weapon directly at the bank tellers, ordered them to put their hands up and demanded money.
The teller complied with the demand and placed the money in the gray duffle bag. The man exited the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, and was last seen leaving the bank in a black 4-door vehicle with chrome wheels.
The subject is described as a white man, early 20's, 5'6" – 5'8", slender build, light brown hair, wearing gray sweatpants and a black shirt or jacket. He also was wearing an old woman mask and what appeared to be a nun's habit, carrying a gray duffle bag and black semi-automatic pistol. No one was injured during the robbery.
