Yesterday's winter storm is long gone now, but the ice and snow is still causing problems.
High temperatures will be close to 32° today, and we will see a little sunshine, so some good melting will occur.
The problem today will be the wind. Winds will gust to 25 mph out of the northwest and will likely cause additional limbs and trees to come down, leading to more power-outages.
Most of the city streets and highways across Oklahoma are dry with slick spots on bridges and overpasses. However, conditions in northwest Oklahoma are a completely different story. Quite a bit of snow has covered the light glaze of ice making for slick and hazardous roads.
A slow warming trend is on the way with highs back near 40 on Tuesday. Another weak cold front arrives early Christmas morning, but we will stay dry. This will mean a colder day on Wednesday with highs in the mid and upper 40s.
