As quickly as this frigid air has moved in today, it will as quickly move out.
It will stick around through tonight as lows drop into the single digits and teens. This will be cold enough to freeze water lines in less insulated homes. It is recommended to let water drip from faucets in these type of conditions - typically about the width of a pencil tip.
Temperatures will warm quickly on Friday and should max out above freezing. The warming trend will ramp up Saturday and Sunday as highs climb into the 60's!
This will be the third January weekend where temperatures will end up well above normal.
