Woman's Body Found In Southwest OKC

A woman's body has been found Friday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.

According to Oklahoma City police, a woman was found dead at a home, located in the 5000 block of S. Broadway Place. There were signs of trauma on her body.

Officers say they also found three children, ages 11, 8, and 3, at the home.

According to Captain Dexter Nelson, at about 7:30 a.m., the children found their mother unresponsive at their home and called a family friend for help.

The friend arrived and found the woman with obvious signs of trauma to her body, and called police.

DHS officials are interviewing and helping the children.
