A suspect led Oklahoma City police officers on a high-speed pursuit late Tuesday night in southeast Oklahoma City.
According to police, just after 11 p.m., the chase began near S.E. 44th and continued in the northbound lanes of Sooner Road.
At one point, police said the suspect was throwing items out of the vehicle.
Officers threw out stop sticks at Interstate 40 and Eastern. The pursuit came to an end near S.E. 29th and Stiles, police said.
One person was taken into custody. It is unclear at this time why the chase began in the first place. Police have not identified the suspect.
The incident is still under investigation.
