Investigators Seek 2 Possible Witnesses In Logan County Homicide

Investigators believe the two are witnesses in the homicide of a man found bound and burned in the middle of a rural Logan County road on Friday, January 31.

The Logan County Sheriff's Office needs help from the public in locating two potential witnesses to a homicide last month.

The sheriff's office released surveillance pictures of a man and woman. Investigators believe the two are witnesses in the homicide of a man found bound and burned in the middle of a rural Logan County road on Friday, January 31.

Logan County Sheriff's deputies discovered the body just south of County Road 75 and Hiwassee Rd. According to police, a crew was out battling a grass fire in the area when they discovered the body.

Police say both the arms and legs of the body were bound before the body was dumped and set ablaze.

The victim's name hasn't been released. Investigators believe these potential witnesses could be the key to solving the case. If you know the identity of the potential witnesses, contact the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
