A butcher at Stillwater's Texas Roadhouse Restaurant will compete against some of the top butchers in America, next week.
Matt Farney, 33, has earned a spot in the A-1 National Meat Cutting Challenge in Orlando, Fla.
Farney is one of 87 finalists who showed incredible skill in the first two rounds. He says he thinks he gets part of his talent from his great great uncle, who he says was a butcher in Mustang in the 1930's and 40's.
"In the 12 years I've done this, I've only cut myself once," he said. "It's kind of like being an artist, but I could never draw, so this is my way of expressing my art form."
First prize in the competition is $20,000. Farney says, while he loves working Texas Roadhouse because they treat their employees so well, he also says his dream is to one day open his own meat shop.
