Warrant Issued For Suspect In Deadly Bricktown Shooting

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a suspect believed to be involved in the shooting death of a Bricktown patron on Saturday.

Oklahoma City Police are trying to a serve a warrant for first-degree murder on 28-year-old Christopher Benson. Police believe Benson is the man responsible for the shooting death of Zachary Bowie, 30, outside of Social night club in Bricktown.

Investigators say Benson, pictured on surveillance footage, was inside Social when he was confronted by security and kicked out. As he was leaving, he made threats to the security officers about returning with a gun. Later a man, now believed to be Benson, opened fire on a crowd outside the night club, striking and killing Bowie.
