OKC Attorney Arrested For Smuggling Sex Toy Into Jail

Oklahoma City Defense Attorney Frank Kirk finds himself on the other side of the law. 

Sheriff John Whetsel says Kirk had a sexual relationship with an Oklahoma County Jail inmate the last three months. Whetsel says the woman came forward last week, after realizing Kirk lied to her about being her attorney.  

Whetsel says deputies arrested Kirk Monday in the jail after finding him in a compromising position with the woman. They say Kirk had also smuggled in a sex toy and a cell phone in his briefcase.

"We're going to sit down in the next couple weeks and try to determine what we can do to tighten up without giving up the ability for attorneys to talk to their clients," he said. 

Kirk is charged with felony contraband smuggling, and five lesser charges for committing a lewd act.
