One Oklahoma City Community College student is fighting crime with Craigslist after her truck was stolen from campus on March 4, 2013.

"I walked all the way to the end of the parking lot and I thought oh my gosh somebody stole the truck," Virginia Singleton was filled with frustration at seeing her parking lot empty.

OCCC campus police captured the thieves stealing Singleton's with one of 300 security cameras installed at Oklahoma City community College.

"It's a very busy place and we do our best to try and watch the cameras but there are so many student coming and going," Chief James Fitzpatrick said it happened quick in Singleton's case.

The video shows a suspect drive up in a white Scion and drop off their partner in crime. The second suspect then apparently hot wired the truck and drove it away from campus.

"Unless they spend a lot of time going down the aisle shopping out what they're looking for, it's difficult catch them," Chief Fitzpatrick said in this case a woman and two males stole the truck.

Singleton is willing to try anything to catch the suspects. She posted photos of her stolen 1994 Chevy truck and the camera equipment she had in the vehicle on Craigslist.

"I don't know what else to do," Singleton said she hopes it will keep the thieves from selling off her valuables.

Campus police reported a second attempted car theft on campus March 10. In this case, two men driving a green 90s-model truck tried to steal a 90s-model Suburban.  It shows the suspect in action until they got spooked and leave the car running.
