Police say a woman was pregnant when she was shot and killed Sunday night in northeast Oklahoma City.
According to police, at about 9 p.m., officers found the victim, 18-year-old Latisha Michelle Shaw, suffering from a gunshot wound near N.E. 25th and Martin Luther King Ave. Shaw was transported to the OU Medical Center, where she later died.
According to police, Shaw and her friends were involved in a fight in the 2000 block of N.E. 28th Street. After the altercation, Shaw was walking south on Martin Luther King when she was shot.
Police confirmed that Shaw was pregnant when she was killed. They are now investigating the deaths of Shaw and her unborn baby as Oklahoma City's eighth and ninth homicide of the year.
Officers are still looking for the suspects. No suspect information is available at this time.
