Police Investigate Bank Robbery In South OKC

At approximately 8:55 a.m., an unidentified white man entered the Republic Bank and Trust located at 11801 S. Western, wearing a red ski mask and dark sunglasses.

Police and FBI agents are investigating the robbery of a south Oklahoma City bank Thursday morning.

At approximately 8:55 a.m., an unidentified white man entered the Republic Bank and Trust located at 11801 S. Western, wearing a red ski mask and dark sunglasses. The suspect approached a teller and stated, "Give me the money." The teller complied and placed an undisclosed amount of money into a white plastic Wal-Mart bag provided by the robber. No weapon was seen.

The robber then took off on foot and headed south from the bank. No one was injured in the robbery.

Surveillance photos and witness descriptions show the suspect as a white man with a pale complexion, late 20's to early 30's, 6', 180 lbs., medium build, wearing a dark jacket, blue jeans, red ski mask and dark sunglasses.
