The Orr Family Farm is holding its second annual Weather Roundup - a day created to replace fear of tornadoes with awareness of Oklahoma's terrible twisters. The Orr Family Farm was hard hit by the deadly EF-5 tornado that swept through central Oklahoma almost a year ago.
The same employees that had to take cover from the tornado only to emerge to see the entire farm destroyed will be on hand to celebrate their continued recovery.
"We just pulled the blessing out of it," said Orr Family Farm General Manager Shanin Kemp. "We focused on the bright side, and we tried to make some changes we had wanted to make before."
New attractions like the Fun Farm Yard join old favorites like the jumping pillows, zip line, animal barn and more.
News 9 will be at the Weather Roundup from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Be sure to come out and say hello! The Roundup lasts til 6 p.m.
Admission is $10.50 plus tax. Moore public school students and faculty will receive free admission.
