Summertime Kicks Into Gear In Oklahoma

Summertime kicks into gear to start the week. Highs today will range from the upper 80s in eastern Oklahoma to upper 90s and lower 100s in western Oklahoma.

The same will hold true for Monday and Tuesday. Fire danger will be in the extreme category for all three days as south winds gust to at least 30 mph.

Rain chances start increasing on Wednesday as our first upper level system approaches. Storm chances are higher on Thursday with a potential for some severe weather. We'll be watching that threat closely.
