An Amber Alert issued for two children taken by their non-custodial parents out of Tahlequah, Okla., Friday night has been canceled. Police said the suspects are in custody, and the children are safe.

Police said three-year-old Tye Mouse and one-year-old Aiden Mouse were taken at approximately 6:15 p.m. by their non-custodial father, 27-year-old Tyler Mouse, and mother, who has not yet been identified, by force from their court-ordered custodial grandparent.

According to police, the father is a known drug user, is considered mentally unstable and made death threats in front of the children at the time of the abduction.

Police believed the couple may have been heading to Mannford, Okla., Jennings, Okla., or Chanute, Kan.
