As this large slow moving low pressure system hovers over Oklahoma, our rain chances will continue this evening.
Moderate to heavy rain is expected with some localized flooding possible. Rainfall totals have ranged from 1 to 6 inches across the state, and the heaviest rain is starting to wind down as the system weakens.
Rain chances will taper off into the overnight hours as the main storm moves to the southeast.
Best rain chances overnight will be in southeast Oklahoma. Lows tonight are expected to drop into the upper 50s and low 60s.
Wednesday highs will once again climb back into the lower and mid 80s under partly cloudy skies. Only isolated showers and storms are expected as best rain chances persist in southeast Oklahoma.
Rain chances for the Oklahoma city metro Wednesday are only at 20% with chances less than 20% both Thursday and Friday.
