The last day of the holiday weekend will also be the hottest. Click through for your forecast.
Highs today will be a bit hotter than yesterday. Yes, that means the heat index values as well. Several areas, especially in western Oklahoma, will have heat index values above 100°.
Rain chances today are quite low, but an isolated shower or storm can't be ruled out north of Interstate 40.
The heat goes on into the work week as temperatures close in on the century mark Tuesday afternoon just ahead of a weak frontal system. That system will bring a slight chance of rain to northern and central Oklahoma late Tuesday through early Thursday. Once it moves out Thursday afternoon, next weekend looks hot as well.
