The bomb squad has given the 'all clear' after investigating a suspicious package found at a house in southeast Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

Police were originally called to the home, located near SE 39th St. and Stiles Ave, for an alleged assault with a deadly weapon. When officers arrived they detained a suspect who threatened that there was a bomb on the front porch.

Police say the situation appears to be the result of a domestic dispute between neighbors. They say a woman came home from the store and found a gym bag with a note on it indicating that there was something dangerous, possibly an explosive inside. She called police to come check it out.

Police have a suspect in custody and they believe it's the same man involved in an assault with a deadly weapon incident they were initially called to check on. That man, who has yet to be identified, is also being questioned for allegedly pointing a firearm at neighbors.

Again, police have given the all clear on the explosive at this time. They did not say what they found inside of the gym bag.
