An arrest warrant has been issued for a man who is accused of shooting and killing another man at an apartment in northwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, on Sunday, July 27, officers found the body of Terran Wilson inside an apartment at the Rockwell Villa Apartments, located at 909 N. Rockwell Avenue. According to the Medical Examiner, Wilson appeared to have been shot and killed.
A witness told police she had gone to the apartment earlier on Sunday morning to buy marijuana. But the tenant at the apartment, 24-year-old Demarcus Jose Jackson, told her to leave. The witness said Jackson later met her and gave her a semi-automatic pistol. He reportedly told her to hide the gun.
The witness said she was scared and took the gun. But she later called police and turned the gun over to their custody.
Police spoke with another witness, who said she knew both Wilson and Jackson. She said she was with both of them early Sunday morning, and that Wilson and Jackson had been selling PCP from the apartment.
According to that witness, Jackson used PCP and an Ecstasy pill early Sunday morning. After ingesting these drugs, Jackson reportedly ordered Wilson to sit down on the couch, but Wilson would not comply. That’s when Jackson shot Wilson with a semi-automatic pistol, the witness said.
Police said that witness positively identified Jackson from a photo as the person she saw shoot and kill Wilson.
Police issued an arrest warrant Tuesday for Jackson. He is now wanted on one count of first degree murder.
