One Critical After Car, Semi Collide In SW Oklahoma City

One person is in critical condition after a car and a semi collided in southwest Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

Emergency crews responded to the accident near SW 44th St. and Council Rd. Police have completely shut down SW 44th in the area due to the severity of this crash.

Police originally said one person had died in the crash, but that has since been determined as incorrect. Instead, only one person is in critical condition at a local hospital at this time.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
