If I haven't said it enough already, we made it to 100° in Oklahoma City yesterday for the second straight day. That brings our total to four days at 100° or above in 2014. I think we make it three days in a row today (five total).

Lots of Oklahoma will reach 100° or above this afternoon as winds turn southwest around lunch time and then back to the south this afternoon.

If a storm happens to develop this afternoon, it will be in far western Oklahoma and the panhandle. Otherwise, hot and humid. Again.

Looking down the road, we keep the heat turned on through the first part of the work week. Rain chances may move into western Oklahoma late Wednesday, but our best chances will be Thursday into Friday, and if the system keeps its slow pace, we'll have rain chances into Saturday as well. The rest of the Labor Day weekend, right now, will have temps around normal.

We'll be tracking that system all week and keep you updated!
