Over 360 motorcyclists signed up to participate prior to the event, but more than 600 riders from across Oklahoma showed up outside the News 9 studios Sunday morning to help feed hungry children.

News 9's Stan Miller and participants will enjoy a 100-mile motorcycle ride through central Oklahoma. They will roll down Route 66 for a pit stop at Pop's Restaurant and ride through downtown Guthrie. Their final destination is Lucille's Restaurant in Mulhall, where lunch will be served along with live music, activities and a silent and live auction.

Learn more about Oklahoma's Own Ride Against Childhood Hunger

One in four children in Oklahoma struggles with hunger every day, and Oklahoma is the fifth hungriest state in the nation. No child should ever go hungry.

The 2014 Ride Against Childhood Hunger was once again a great success. This year we had 360 motorcycles and more than 650 participants who helped raise $110,000 for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma's Food For Kids Program!!

That will provide 550 children with a backpack full of non-perishable food items on weekends and school holidays for an entire school year!!
